Ett SSL-certifikat är ett digitalt certifikat som utfärdats för en domän av en central myndighet som kallas certifikatutfärdaren. För att få ett SSL-certifikat måste du köpa ett SSL-certifikat och sedan gå igenom en verifieringsprocess som utförs av certifikatutfärdaren.
Ett SSL-certifikat gör två saker: a. Kryptera informationen som skickas från din användares webbläsare till din webbplats b. Autentisera din webbplats identitet. Genom att göra dessa 2 saker skyddar ett SSL-certifikat dina kunder och ökar i sin tur deras förtroende för din onlineverksamhet. Detta är särskilt viktigt om din webbplats kräver att användare loggar in med lösenord eller anger känslig information som kreditkortsuppgifter.
SSL-certifikat är kompatibla med alla större webbläsare.
Tyvärr stöder vi inte uppgraderingar/nedgraderingar för närvarande. Vid behov kan du köpa ett nytt certifikat och installera det på samma webbserver som det gamla certifikatet
